Meet the Cast

Cast

Nayelee Villanueva

Natalie Rivera

Nayelee is a writing professor at the College of Southern Nevada, where she has spent fourteen years teaching students to find their voice on the page. First and foremost an academic writer and researcher, she also writes romance novels for fun and is currently at work on her second book. In 2024, she found a different kind of voice on stage, stepping into community theatre with Not From Around Here, her first foray into performance. That experience cracked something open. She began writing scripts, and now she brings every instinct she has from academic, novelistic, theatrical to Per Our Last Conversation, marking her debut in short film as both co-writer and actor. She has always believed in the power of a well-chosen word. She is only now learning what it looks like when that word is delivered in front of a camera.

Ryan Duncan

Stanley Hartmann

Ryan is thrilled to make his on-camera debut in a lead role as Stan, in Per Our Last Conversation. Ever the glutton for brilliant writing, he’s devoted the wealth of his acting career to listener’s ears as an award winning audiobook narrator. When his nose is not in a book, he’s fully immersed in the acting roles offered within the imaginary worlds created by his brilliantly fierce seven year old daughter and his favorite role to date, husband to his beautiful wife and life partner, Kristina. Ryan is humbled and grateful to pursue work enriched by the arts. If there is an exceptional story to be told, he’s honored to tell it.

Samantha Bledsoe

Emilia - Recorder

Samantha fell in love with film and theatre at a young age. Her first acting role was in a kindergarten production of Cinderella where she appeared as the third mouse. She became interested in the technical side of production when she tagged along to her dad’s costume fitting for his bit parts in the movies, Casino and Con Air. During middle school and high school, she got involved in technical theater where she worked in hair, makeup, costuming, lighting, sound, set design and construction. In 2004, she graduated with a degree in Film and Video Production from Full Sail. For several years, she worked as a PA on various commercials and television shows, and was a camera operator for the summer concert series at South Point Hotel and Casino. For the last decade, she worked as an English and Film Studies teacher for the Clark County School District. She is thrilled to be working on Per Our Last Conversation. It is her biggest role since appearing as a “laughing audience member” for MTV’s The Real World Reunion 2000.
